I was disappointed with this plate of Hokkien mee probably because I had high hopes knowing it's in Michelin Guide selected 2025. Can hardly taste any prawn flavour in the broth, so it came across quite bland. Even the chilli wasn't shiok enough to save it. Definitely not the satisfying punch I usually look forward to in a good Hokkien mee.

3 August 2025. Had fried Hokkien mee ($5) for dinner, was quite good. Long queue, so be patient. The noodles were well-braised and the prawn stock was flavourful.

Visited on a weekday with no queue. Ate this a couple of times already, weekday standards seem better. The noodles had good wok hei and flavour, BUT the dish could have been served hotter for a more satisfying bite and taste. The $5 portion was decent and filling. Overall, not bad..
