Tried Ah Seng Braised Duck Rice at Serangoon Market. Popular stall with a long queue, especially during peak lunch hours (expect a 20-minute wait). The duck is tender and the rice is fragrant. Worth the wait!

Really good value for old-school goodness. Serving of duck + $4 pork + liver + egg + rice for $9.30. The duck is tender enough, though not the best but the braised pork belly is flavourful and the egg is well-cooked.

Be prepared to queue. The duck rice at Ah Seng strikes a decent balance between flavor and value. The duck is tender and the braising sauce is rich. A solid choice for duck rice.

definitely worth the hype! one of the more memorable duck rice meals I have had in a long time. flavourful and saltiness was just right. garlic chilli was v good too. been wanting to try for a long time now but was put off by the queue, but the queue actually moves quickly so it’s not unbearable and worth the wait.

Mar25, Ah Seng has been here for the longest time, it has been always very good. Today decide to post because it is hard to find this type of Teochew style, chilli was very good with the duck. Price for a person at $4/- very reasonable with rice some more. It is always crowded and expected to Q for 10 minutes minimum. Try the cabbage very good too.
