Waited 45 mins. Done eating in 5 mins! Well, the portion is small. 2 small prawns (I read an earlier review said 3). First bite was sweet! No wok hei. It's not too bad but not worth the wait nor traveling all the way to eat it.

Was at the stall just before closing, managed to snag one of the last few plates on a Saturday evening. Filled with anticipation, I tried Blue Star's 40+ year old recipe for HKM. There is a slight alkali tinge to the noodles, ingredients …

Great taste. Very authentic and rather seeet. Ordered the $5 with 2 prawns and some squid and belly pork. Just enough for me. Service from the lady was nice but the cook glared and blinked at me as I ordered at 2pm inconveniencing him …

I tried their Hokkien mee for the first time. They offer three different price options $5/6/7 and I ordered the $5 portion. The portion was small and included three small prawns. The chili was good, and the pork lard was crispy, although in smaller pieces. Overall, the taste was very average. If you're passing by, it's worth a try.
