Classic satay skewers grilled over charcoal, a Singapore barbecue tradition.
Classic satay skewers grilled over charcoal, a Singapore barbecue tradition.
Chomp Chomp Satay serves the iconic Singapore satay, skewers of marinated meat grilled over charcoal until slightly charred and deeply flavourful. The name evokes the famous Chomp Chomp Food Centre, a beloved satay destination in Serangoon Gardens. Each skewer is prepared with the traditional marinade of turmeric, lemongrass, and spices, then grilled to order over hot coals for that characteristic smoky aroma.Based on 30 Google reviews

My favourite fried chempedak and goreng pisang, with delicious, tasty and crispy batter. We don't have the satay that often, even though it's not bad. The stall owners can recognise us as we patronised them over the years.

The “pineapple sauce” sign grabbed my attention. It’s so hard to find that nowadays. Some stalls advertise that then say they ran out - Wth. It was good! The meat is chunky and well marinated. The fat cube in the middle is a joy to bite …

Chicken satay (80c) was abit too sweet for my liking. Not really a fan of their marinade. They are more on the generous side for satay.
