The travelling Greater Sentosa exhibition, titled Your Island. Reimagined., lands at Waterway Point in Punggol from 23 to 27 September 2026, 10am to 10pm. Admission is free. This is the last mainland stop before the show moves onto Sentosa in October. If you live in Punggol, Sengkang, or Hougang, you do not need to cross the island to see the master plan. The mall is on the Punggol LRT and Downtown Line.
Sentosa Development Corporation unveiled the Greater Sentosa Master Plan on 3 July at VivoCity. CNA and The Straits Times covered the same facts. Sentosa will join 120 hectares of Pulau Brani over two decades. New attractions are slated from the early 2030s. The target is about 32 million visitors a year, twice today's Sentosa numbers. Minister Grace Fu called it the island's boldest vision yet. That language is theirs. The exhibition is how they want you to argue with it.
Seven zones, a postcard, and HHN tickets
The official Sentosa page lists seven immersive zones covering heritage, today's island, future journeys, Island Heart, the ridgeline, expanded beaches, and a living vision. You stamp postcards, sit quizzes, and use an AI-enabled walkthrough to sketch future shorelines. BYKidO and the SDC press note both flag exclusive exhibition deals on current Sentosa attractions and dining vouchers. Halloween Horror Nights 14 tickets for Universal Studios Singapore, 25 September to 1 November, were listed for sale at this Waterway Point stop. That is the practical reason to go even if you do not care about 2030s canopy walks.
Earlier stops: VivoCity 3 to 5 July, Our Tampines Hub 22 to 27 July, Jurong Point 19 to 23 August. Waterway Point is 23 to 27 September. Then Sentosa in October. If you missed Jurong Point in August, this is the last indoor mall version with air-con and a FairPrice downstairs.
What the plan actually changes, and what to eat after
The parts that matter to a northeast family: a sheltered forest canopy walk up Mount Imbiah, a tram hub linking Sentosa and Brani, islet-hopping along about 3km of beaches, and a multi-purpose Sensorium at Siloso. None of that is open in 2026. The exhibition is a consultation as much as a sales pitch. SDC asked for public input on shorelines and attractions. Stamp the postcard if you have an opinion. Leave if you only came for the HHN discount.
Waterway Point itself is the dining catch. White Restaurant's white bee hoon is in the basement. The Punggol Settlement seafood stretch is a short ride toward the coast if you want a proper dinner after the mall. Punggol East Container Park's F&B tenants are winding down through October, a story already on this site. Do not plan the container park as your after-party. The mall food court will still be there on 27 September.
Punggol Coast Hawker Centre at 84 Punggol Way is listed for washing 28 to 30 September, so that weekend after the exhibition is a dead hawker. Eat at Waterway Point on the 27th if that is your usual. I would go on a weekday evening, 7pm, after office traffic on the Downtown Line thins. Weekend 4pm will be strollers and school-holiday queues at the photobooth.
