Serangoon Gardens Country Club 实龙岗花园乡村俱乐部 opens its Main Lobby to everyone on Saturday 28 November 2026 for Enchanted Christmas Light-Up. Hours are 10am to 8pm. Entry is free. The day is a market, kids' workshops, a French film at 11am, Santa at 6.15pm, and the tree light-up at 6.30pm. Email for questions is mrevents@sgcc.com.sg. Programme times can still move.
Yakari at 11am, then the market
The lobby screens Yakari: A Spectacular Journey from 11am. The French Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Mr Stephen Marchisio, opens the screening. The Embassy of France and Institut Français back it as part of the French Film Festival. Admission to the film is free, same as the rest of the day. The plot on the club page is the boy looking for a wild mustang, with help from his spirit animal.
After that the Christmas market is the thing that fills the lobby. The club asked vendors in September, with applications closing 21 September 2026. The live page now just says browse participating stalls and pick something up. It does not publish a stall list. Treat the market as a walk-through, not a named directory.
Games, Santa, light-up
Afternoon programming on the official page: games, an arts and crafts workshop, a bubble show, magic, a ventriloquist, and a story reading by fortheloves of Felix the Basket has a Secret Mission. Santa is listed at 6.15pm. The tree ceremony is 6.30pm. That is the slot to plan around if you only want the light-up and not the whole ten hours.
The Facebook post from the club account SGCC1955 matches the website on date, hours, free entry, and the Yakari screening. The website is the fuller page. Christmas Eve at Club Twenty-Two on 24 December and the Kensington Ballroom masquerade on 18 December are members' parties on other dates. They are not this Saturday.
How to get into the Gardens
Serangoon Gardens is a landed enclave, not a mall atrium. Lorong Chuan MRT CC14 is the closest Circle Line stop, then a walk or a short bus along Kensington Park Road. Serangoon MRT NE12/CC13 is the North East Line option, then bus. Driving is the default for a lot of families here. Parking is on the club grounds. If the lobby is packed at 6pm, arrive earlier for Santa rather than squeezing in at 6.14pm.
I would treat this as the free neighbourhood Christmas in the Gardens, not a ticketed festival. Bring cash for the market stalls. Confirm the 11am film start on the club page the week of the 28th. The light-up is the reason to stay past dinner.
