AMACHA Launches TCM Herbal Gelato Bar at AMK Hub B2
Ang Mo Kio finally got its own AMACHA outlet on 7 July 2026, and it is the brand's first with seating and a freshly churned gelato counter. The store sits at #B2-05/06 of AMK Hub, steps from Ang Mo Kio MRT (NS16), and it pairs AMACHA's signature herbal milk teas with four TCM-inspired gelato flavours that you cannot get at their other outlets yet.
AMACHA calls itself Singapore's first TCM-inspired herbal milk tea brand, and the AMK Hub opening is their fourth store after Chinatown Pagoda Street, Tampines 1, and Capitol. The gelato concept is exclusive to the Ang Mo Kio branch for now, which makes this the one AMACHA outlet worth queuing at if you have tried the drinks elsewhere already.
The four gelato flavours and what they taste like
Each gelato cup is $5, churned in-house, and built around herbs AMACHA already brews into its drinks. The current lineup:
- Jasmine & Snow Pear — the lightest of the four, floral with a clean pear finish
- Chrysanthemum & Monk Fruit — naturally sweet without added sugar, closest to a cooling TCM tea
- Red Date & Longan — the most dessert-like, with a warm date sweetness
- Winter Melon & Lemon — the standout, citrusy and refreshing, the one regulars recommend
The texture is smooth and creamy rather than icy, and the herbal notes come through as fragrance rather than medicine. If you have ever winced at a bitter herbal soup, this is the opposite: the gelato reads as a light dessert that happens to use herbs, not a health product pretending to be ice cream.
The drinks menu and the 18 July 1-for-1
The drinks counter runs the full AMACHA menu, anchored by the signature Grandma's Remedy (chrysanthemum, bamboo leaf, dandelion, monk fruit, milk blend, herbal jelly) which tastes close to pi pa gao cough syrup in the best way. Other signatures include Qi Booster with ginseng and astragalus, and Rosy Radiance with rose, longan, goji and red dates.
To mark the new outlet, AMACHA is running a one-day 1-for-1 promotion on Saturday 18 July 2026 from 12pm to 8pm. The deal covers four signature drinks only:

- Ethereal Beauty
- Respira Bloom
- Rosy Radiance
Walk in, order one, get the second free. The gelato is not part of the 1-for-1, but at $5 a cup it is cheap enough to add on. Expect a queue during the promo window, especially after lunch, so arriving closer to noon than to 8pm is the smarter move.
Who this outlet suits
If you live or work around Ang Mo Kio, Bishan or the Upper Thomson corridor, this is now your nearest AMACHA. The seating matters: the other outlets are grab-and-go counters, but AMK Hub has a proper dine-in space, so it works for a sit-down dessert after a meal at the mall's Food Street on B2. The gelato is the reason to make a special trip if you are coming from further out, since the drinks alone are available closer to town at Chinatown and Capitol.
